Arikm7, I really don't know how to respond to your posts.  You keep accusing me of not answering your questions, or not giving "yes/no" answers to very highly loaded questions.  But honestly, your posts are so full of negative emotional ranting that they feel more like a campaign speech or just a good old-fashioned playground beating than a conversation.  And that's okay - this is a Jewish teaching forum, not a debate forum.  Your house, your rules.  However, it definitely doesn't make for good conversation.  Anyway, it seems pretty clear that you expect me to try to answer, and so I will.

So to you, the "will of G-d" is a buffet platter from which you choose what you want and disregard what you don't want?
No.

Arikm7 wrote:
And pray tell, how do you determine this "Will of G-d"?
I use scripture as my guide, and assume that any "leading of the spirit" that contradicts scripture is not from God.

So who should we believe--- G-d or you?
You should believe God.

And furthermore, isn't naming and claiming miracles in the name of a dead guy (jeesus) the SAME as necromancy and the Ouija board.
It depends if Jesus is who he says he is.

How is it that those pagan faiths are in your words "antithetical to the faith handed down from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob" but belief in a godling whose daddy impregnated a "virgin" (akin to Zeus and Diana) is NOT??? How is the religion of Mithras not line with the faith of the Patriarchs but your dying and resurrecting godling is??
Because I believe that Jesus was sent by God. Furthermore, I don't believe in any of the other pagan gods you mentioned.  Only the God of Israel actually intervened in human history and left tangible evidence of His intervention.

You don't think G-d could have had the foreknowledge of your religion and forewarned us in the pages of the Torah?
(Another loaded question with multiple antecedents, phrased in the negative, thus making it difficult to answer clearly.) Yes, I think He has full foreknowledge.  Yes, I think He knew Jesus was coming, and revealed it in the Torah.

I don't see any further questions for me in your post.  The rest of your essay covers topics that have been addressed here before, for which, according to the rules of this forum, I am not permitted to repeat my answers.

Although I'm not from Ethiopia, I think it was a very appropriate citation.
