And as usual xians only read what they want to read (be it the Tanakh, their own Nt or even any of the posts posted here) and see what they want to see.

The blurt from Proteus is paradoxical. Obviously he didn't read the post. I was referencing those miracles claimed by those of other faiths who try to use their miracles to substantiate their claim and to basically trump Judaism and the Jew's fidelity to G-d and Torah. Then he says "... the Torah says what the Torah says". well, if the Torah says NOT to believe the miracles of these faiths or their "prophets", and you go ahead and believe them, aren't you in violation of the Torah? How can you trust what the Torah says and yet advance that the side shows of other religions are true? Or is this just LIP service to "inerrant word of god" concept but deep within you use your own yardstick to measure what is true and what is false?

Again, this was already covered extensively. The bottom line is most missionizing xians (and anyone else who wants their Jeesus) will do all sorts or polemic and theological and mental back bending (more so than a yogi and yoga poses) with the Torah to make it more accommodating to their NT. It's not that the Torah is foundation of their faith. They gut out the parts they don't like and use filler to make it more palatable. For if the Torah really were the foundation of their faith, they wouldn't HAVE a faith, as their faith is an anathema to the Torah. It's all smoke and mirrors and lip service.
