Myopic ?
Interesting choice of word !

Thesaurus
Adj.1.myopic - unable to see distant objects clearly

2.myopic - lacking foresight or scope; "a short view of the problem"; "shortsighted policies"; "shortsighted critics derided the plan"; "myopic thinking"

Folah, Based on my experience with many of your posts, I believe #2 describes your perspective quite well.

Again consistent with #2 above.  What rubbish!!!  The Hebrew Bible was written BY Jews FOR Jews.  Although there were many pagan religions in those days, there was no Christianity then.  Perhaps Christendom's perspective would be a more suitable characterization along those lines as a statement, not as a question:

The EXTREME Jesus-centric interpretation of the Hebrew Bible can be described as myopic.

Put that into your pipe and smoke it for a while...smiley: pimp

Our raison d'être:

WHOSOEVER DESTROYS A SINGLE SOUL OF ISRAEL, SCRIPTURE IMPUTES [GUILT] TO HIM AS THOUGH HE HAD DESTROYED A COMPLETE WORLD; AND WHOSOEVER PRESERVES A SINGLE SOUL OF ISRAEL, SCRIPTURE ASCRIBES [MERIT] TO HIM AS THOUGH HE HAD PRESERVED A COMPLETE WORLD. (Babylonian Talmud, Tractate Sanhedrin, 37a)

The fruits of our effort:

The battle against spiritual terrorism is being won, one soul at a time!!!
