Rules of the Counter Missionary Forum, rule #3:
Non-Jews are free to ask questions about Judaism but non-Jews attempting to teach (Judaism or other religions (see proselytizing prohibition in rule #2)  will have their posts edited or removed. Such posts are misleading.    We would ask the same of Jews who do not possess a working knowledge of Judaism (not their own personal opinions).
There are plenty of Internet sites where people can debate the points of one religion over another.  There are many sites which teach various teachings of Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, etc.    Well and good.   Messiahtruth is not a debate forum.  It is not a "let me tell you what my religion believes" site either.   Messiahtruth's purpose is to teach the uneducated Jew.   Non-Jews are certainly welcome, but we do not seek them out as we do not proselytize to other religions.

The rule that non-Jews and under educated Jews ask questions is in place to avoid getting into arguments of "red pencil / blue pencil."  Frankly what a given Christian believes is totally immaterial to us unless the purpose of bringing up a Christian belief is to put it into the perspective of how it differs from Jewish belief. . .

I realize it is very hard for some people to abide by the rules, let alone understand them. . .  but just as we try to give respect, we ask for respect.    We are happy to answer questions -- and if those questions require some clarification on the part of a poster that is well and good.   Going off onto non-Jewish side rails of personal beliefs or even denominational beliefs is really immaterial -- and a violation of the rules.
