Hi R. Daniel,

Doug:    If the law is not given, then good and evil don't have a reference.    But it seems to me that the law is not necessary unless there is disobedience - which before eating from the tree, there was not disobedience.       But upon eating from the tree, with disobedience,  the law became conscience.

R. Daniel:    Illogical again. Disobedience can only exist within the boundaries of law.
"But upon eating from the tree, with disobedience, the law became conscience"     My logic is based upon Adam's and Eve's actions compared to before eating from the tree and after.   And the question that God asked them.

Genesis 3:

9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

R. Daniel, this is my last post in this thread because I realize that you are busy and probably tired after your kosher work (I read in your profile).   So whatever your response is, if any - is fine by me.    Have a nice day.

Doug
