Dougg: from my post YEARS ago.. I told you.. Karet does not mean "cut off' as in dying.. it means that this prince does something so heinous, so disputable to Torah, that G-D mandates he be removed. There are only three or four major infractions that are worthy of being outsted from the Jewish people altogether.

And the second part of that phrase in Daniel actually reads "and he shall be cut off (removed) and HE SHALL HAVE NOTHING! NOT "but not for himself". The King James literally warped the Text to make it fit J, when in actuality, again, this anointed one does something so heinous he can never be part of the Jewish people. Now unless you're willing to concede that J did something so evil that it merits his being removed from the Jewish People altogether, stop trying to make things fit YOUR calculation and machination.

Again, I'm with Sophiee… read the articles, stop asking the same question that was answered 9 years ago and just deal with the fact that NOTHING in the Tanach is talking about J.. (except maybe Devarim which talks about false gods, false prophets and false witnesses.. and also predicted that the final period of Jewish History, the Jews will be forced to worship gods of wood and stone--not gold and silver---which allude to xianity and islam).
