My beliefs are based in Scripture. Scripture is what forms my opinions and where I look for answers to questions such as those posed by SearchingMyRoots. You have posted elsewhere that to believe that one knows the truth makes one an unreliable source of truth. You will only find yourself frustrated by discussions with Torah Observant Jews and born-again Christians. We disagree, harshly at times, concerning what is true. We passionately believe that truth is available, and that individuals are held responsible to live and act in accordance with it's requirements. Philosophy is interesting, study of world religions is interesting - I can still give the story of creation according to the B'hagvad Gita (sp?) and know the tenets and philosophies of several other religions. Such knowledge is fine, but it is not truth. Nor is spirituality, or humanistic endeaver. They have their place in the light of truth, but are useless without it. I guess you and I really have nothing to discuss.
