I realize that everyone there says they are not trying to get me to chuck my faith, but the issues raised are unavoidably implying those kinds of decisions. But you should understand that I have other reasons for believing and I did not decide to be a Christian because I figured out how many disciples and in what possible order Jesus appeared to them.

Yes. The issues raised do cause Christians to face specific decisions. But, I greatly admire Christians who are willing to discuss and consider such issues.

Bart D. Ehrman is one man of Christian background that has raised issues dealing with Christianity. www.npr.org/templates/sto...Id=5052156
His response is quite remarkable to the question, "What now?"

A person's faith is a person's faith; it does not just rely on the individual but also on the peoplehood and culture that he or she has come from. It also relies on the person that the individual feels he or she is. It should never rely on the imposing of faith by any individual or group. G-d established the 72 nations {the 70 nations, Israel, and G-d}.
Behind everything that we know, is a Divine purpose.
And G-d also gave humans freedom to make choices.
