Now, please note that I am not expecting these explanations to turn you into a Christian believer. I would like you to drop these challenges from your list of unanswerable problems with the NT, since you can see that there are possible answers, even if you personally do not accept the answers. I am merely trying to demonstrate internal consistency in the NT here.

I once was taking a course via the Berean School of the Bible that was focused on the book, New Testament Survey by Merrill C. Tenney. The book's purpose was to show the consistency of the Christian text. In my opinion, the book's purpose was not successful. After studying the history of why and how the four Gospels were written, I had scholarly doubts about the consistency of the works.
Here you can read what others say about the book:

The possible answers are very much overthrown by the time and place when each piece of the Christian text was written.

I can't point you to specific issues I had because I don't own the book anymore. Before I became a Jew, I gave the book away {along with other books of this nature} to a group of Christians that were visiting my synagogue and that I knew from my past. It was my way of repaying them for at least trying to understand the Jewish viewpoint. The books collective value was over $100.

Shalom,
Gretta
