Concerning the translation itself of Isaiah 42, the KJV and the LXX agree more with each other, than the text you use. So I am on solid ground there as well.
This doesn't really help your case since both the KJV and the LXX are translations by Christians.

Well, you had asked me past tense what had Jesus done regarding world peace, and I said "no". If the question were rephrased to the future I would have said "yes".
Since your messiah already showed up, the question was about whether he accomplished what the Hebrew Bible says about the messianic agenda items of world peace and the universal knowledge of G-d. According to the Hebrew Bible, the promised Jewish Messiah will accomplish the messianic agenda on his first and only appearance - there is no "second coming", i.e., there is no "second chance" for him. If a person thought to be the Messiah doesn't accomplish this messianic agenda on his "watch", he is a false messiah, such as Bar Kochba and numerous others who followed after him up to even the 20th century.
