For one thing, the demands it made of teens were extremely unrealistic. This site is seemingly made for non orthodox Jewish teens, yet tells them to do things like stay out of a secluded room with a member of the opposite sex, preferably not even shaking hands.

To give those directions to an average American teenager is like PETA trying to convert the world to being vegan, when they would cause more change simply by asking people to buy free range meats over factory farmed stuff.

G-d commanded the Jews to separate ourselves and be a "holy" nation to Him. No one ever said keeping Torah was supposed to be easy. That is why 99.7% of the world (non-Jews) are NOT required to keep the Torah, but 0.3% (Jews) are.

Obviously, for a non-Orthodox Jewish teen in public school these "demands" seem "unrealistic", as they do not know anything better than the standards they have been exposed to in public school. That is why it is imporant for Jews kids to learn in Yeshiva. At any rate, it is never too late to embrace Torah. A sinning Jew can always do teshuva and commit to being shomer negia later on in life, just like a Jew who grew up eating pork and shrimp can always take on kashrut later on in life.
