Hi Dan,
Thanks for the observations. It's a tough issue for sure in this day and age, as all are agreeing.
A few years ago, all 4 of our kids were teenagers (now two are older and 2 are still teens) so this is a subject very much in the forefront for us.
In my opinion, the key, in general, to helping our children to develop into moral, god-centered adults is to help them internalize values and truths from the beginning.
Strict external rules without commitment to the underlying philosophy often results in a reverse effect - marked by rebellion.
(I think the authors of the website would probably concur)

For example if kids see marriage as a sacred union, a treasured gift from God, holy, blessed ... then hopefully they understand the value of bringing their best, pure self into it.
If they understand that their body is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, then they will realize that they are precious, of utter value, and the use or gift of their body is not something to be taken lightly.

(I understand that this is not your view, I am just sharing my opinion).

Although I'm not Jewish, I thought the website did a pretty good job overall. But you're right, without the inward conviction, it's a tough sell.
