Are there any historical documents about the kingdom of Israel, besides in the Hebrew Bible?
There appears to be tangible evidence for it. The 2003 discovery of a stone tablet with an inscription that dates back to King Joash (Yehoash in Hebrew) of the 9th century BCE goes a long way to validating not only the existence of the Kingdom of Judah, but also the existence of the First (Solomon's) Temple in Jerusalem.

Although there was some chatter about it possibly being a forgery, I have not seen any official publication that identifies the tablet as a forgery. In fact, the initial assessment by the Israeli antiquities experts felt it was authentic.
