Zechariah 9:9
------------------------------------------------------------ Is this prophecy translated right in the Christian Bible There are two problems with your question which prevent us from giving you a good answer. 1. There are quite a few Christian translations of the Jewish Scriptures, some of them do a better job than others in translating this particular verse. Which Christian Bible do you have in mind? 2. Zechariah 9:9 is only part of a prophecy and does not "stand alone" without Zechariah 9:10. Zechariah 9:1-10 is the complete messianic prophecy within which Zechariah 9:9-10 is the prophecy that foretells of the arrival of the King of Peace, the promised Jewish Messiah, in Zion. [The rest of the 9th Chapter, Zechariah 9:11-17, is a prophecy of downfall of Persia, and the subsequent downfall of Greece.] UriYosef |

Is Zechariah 9.9 the Prophecy of J-sus | ||

It is said that the Righteous King, Who has Salvation, shown in the Scriptural Prophecy of Zechariah 9:9, is J-esus (Yehshua), The Son of YHWH
, and The TRUE Mashiah (MessiYah), Which Sacrifice means Salvation for us. (Matthew 11:1-11)
[Quote from GMatt removed. Please refrain from lengthy quotes from the Greek Text. (UY)]

It is said that the Righteous King, Who has Salvation, shown in the Scriptural Prophecy of Zechariah 9:9, is J-esus (Yehshua), The Son of YHWH , and The TRUE Mashiah (MessiYah), Which Sacrifice means Salvation for us. (Matthew 11:1-11)Yes, we are well aware of what "is said" by Christian apologists. Unfortunately, those claims have no basis in the Hebrew Bible. For example, read the very next verse, Zechariah 9:10, which is part of the prophecy that includes Zechariah 9:9, and tell us when and how your so-called "messiah" fulfilled both verses, 9 & 10. Remember, they cannot be separated - it's one "package". If you would like to have a taste of the falsehoods in the Greek Text, I refer you to the essay Matthew 2: Is it False or Is it True?. Our raison d'être:
WHOSOEVER DESTROYS A SINGLE SOUL OF ISRAEL, SCRIPTURE IMPUTES [GUILT] TO HIM AS THOUGH HE HAD DESTROYED A COMPLETE WORLD; AND WHOSOEVER PRESERVES A SINGLE SOUL OF ISRAEL, SCRIPTURE ASCRIBES [MERIT] TO HIM AS THOUGH HE HAD PRESERVED A COMPLETE WORLD. (Babylonian Talmud, Tractate Sanhedrin, 37a) The fruits of our effort: The battle against spiritual terrorism is being won, one soul at a time!!!
