Prof Uri,
I read your article 'To Not Know 'The L-RD" From "My Master" which discusses Pslams 110.
I'm still somewhat confused about the priesthood of Malche Tzedek. I'm not sure whether this is one person (Shem) or a vague line
consisting of all righteous priest/kings that may or may not have ended with Shem. I think I understand your article to
be saying this line ended with the Aaronic priesthood. Is this correct? Or does it exist among non-Jews?
If this is so, why would this psalm suggest that from David and/or Avraham this same king-priesthood would emerge or why even make a connection? Or asked another way, why would Malche Tzedek be brought up to those under the Aaronic priesthood?
