Rabbi,
A question came up in one of my bible study classes. It is in relation to how our prayers are now used in lieu of the offerings since there is no Temple standing.
The offerings had to be without blemish. Only then were they accepted.
When we use our lips, I would tend to say for most, that they are "unclean". They might have been used for gossip, saying something against another person or similar things.
So the question is, if we could only offer unblemished offerings as prescribed by Hashem, in the Temple, how does He accept the offerings of our lips since many are unclean and with blemish?
