Though looked at from a Western perspective, the concepts are similar worldwide and the rollercoaster ride taken on this journey is full of joy, anger,
happiness and sadness but a ride well worth taking.

Thank you very much for sharing this broadcast link! I found it uplifting and encouraging!
I'm especially touched by them saying: [I hope quoting is allowed] "At some point they [Gentiles] need to embrace who they are. … Maybe they are ashamed of being a Gentile maybe they think it's not a great thing to be a Gentile... They need to embrace the fact that they are not a Jew... That's the first and best thing they can do to say: 'you know what, I'm not a Jew, guess, what, Hashem says that's OK. Not only it's OK but Hashem has prepared for me a wonderful place..." This broadcast really points out that being a Noahide may be different to being a Jew but it's not being less! -not in the eyes of Jews and not in "the eyes" of Hashem who gave everyone his/her place (how truly wonderful is this!). It also points out that being a Noahide gives one tremendous freedom in their religious practice, something which I value. It took me some time to accept the fact that I cannot become a Jew (since being married to a Gentile who doesn't wish to convert to any instituted religion); now I've understood that Hashem gave me my place as Noahide and I gratefully embrace it! |
