I have actually dealt with that claim in the past. After I described to the claimants what a true prophet of Israel, נָבִיא, really was, and how the translation "prophet" misrepresents what the Hebrew word נָבִיא really stands for and challenged them to provide the credentials of the apostles that would qualify them to be called a "prophet", they had no response.
