I highly recommend the book "Caesar's Messiah", by Joseph Atwill. Having thoroughly acquainted myself with the Complete Works of Flavius Josephus, because of Robert Eisenman's "James, the Brother of Jesus", I had no problems recognizing the truth of the thesis presented in "Caesar's Messiah".
