I've been going over Isaiah (Yeshayahu) 7:14 again. I'm on board with your understanding of it here. So I don't want to rehash any of that.
But I just noticed something in one of Uri's articles where he references Nehemiah (Nechemiah) 11:7, where this person in this verse has a son name 'Iti'el' which means 'God is with me'.
Is this Isaiah's son, the same Isaiah and son in Isaiah 7:14?
My Stone Tanach has Nechemiah 11:7 calling this person Jeshaiah יְשַעְיָה , although I can't help noticing the Hebrew is very clsoe to Isaiah, just a slightly different ending יְשַעְיָהוּ
The On line Judica Press Tanach has this person 'Isaiah'.
The Christians translations all seem to use Jeshaiah.
What's up with all this?
