Hello everyone, (I hope you don't mind me asking yet another question.)
A few month ago we put our beloved cat to sleep. We absolutely regarded this as an act of compassion as we wanted to spare our cat even more and greater suffering at the end of his life.
(And believe me we didn't take this decision lightly.)
I read on the AskNoah forum that euthanasia for a pet animal is forbidden for Jews and Noahides -the answer was provided by a Rabbi.
Is this true? -I can't see a violation of any of the 7 laws for Noahides.
How can an act of compassion towards a creature entrusted in our hands be wrong?
