Who was this prince of the kingdom of Persia? A xtian I am having a discussion with claims it's the devil or a fallen angel which I know cannot be the case.

Every nation has a governing angel. This was the governing angel of Persia. Israel, us Jews, we were in exile under Persia [after they defeated the Babylonians.] Daniel, a Jew, was withstood by the Persian angel.... He was shown how long the Persian exile would last. Withstood...exile.... Daniel...Israel Persia....Persia get it? Ask him if he gets it. And just so you know how it works, when we have a verse and an explanation, and he comes along after 2500 years and wants to change the meaning, the burden of proof is on him, not you. The academic said, "Why don't you put him in an institution, have a life of your own?" The Jewish mother responded, "What meaning would my life have?"
