I work at a local television station as a board operator (I control what goes on air) and on Sundays I have to put Jack Van Impe and Turning Point on air. Turning Point is set to do so automatically later when I am not there, and Jack Van Impe I play manually. These are both Xian television shows. To try and ease my discomfort I turned the audio off on my preview monitor them so I wouldn't have to hear it (I can still check and make sure the show has audio with a meter that displays audio levels).
However, I still feel bad that I am running this garbage and I think that I am breaking a commandment. However, only recently becoming an observant Noahide, a few weeks ago or so, my knowledge is still low and thus I am confused as to whether or not I am in fact breaking a commandment. I would like to know if I am, so I can decide whether or not to tell my boss to have someone else take the Sunday shift. Thank you for reading this.
